In many living rooms the focal point along with the furniture, is the television. It stands to reason then that a suitably designed television stand or unit should be used not only to show it off but also to save space for the usual extras that come with a TV. These TV units have suitable spaces for DVD/Bluray players, gaming consoles and digital or satellite boxes. Some have extra shelving or drawer space to hold numerous DVD sized cases. With these cabinets there is no risk of losing your precious and doubtless expensive television set through fault of poor quality carpentry. Each on is made from sheesham heartwood, a timber commonly used in construction for support beams due to its strength and resistance. The only problem with using the wood this way, however, is that it does no justice to its natural charm as a furnishing material. It has a handsome grain pattern which can be left untouched for the lighter organic look or can be stained to give the deeper colour. To complete these units, they are adorned with iron hand grips. Some units have iron scroll-work or studding on cabinet door fronts.
